Today was the first day of my second semester of year 3 if that wasn't already clear from the title. It was a day filled with orientation; renewing our WHIMIS, fire safety, codes, etc. We met for 2 hours. Pretty uneventful day.
Tomorrow I meet with my first clinical instructor of the semester for my community rotation. I'll be with her for the next 5 weeks so I'm hoping she is at the very least fair. That is all I can hope for at this point. I have had ABSOLUTELY AMAZING instructors thus far with the exception of a couple and I just really hope my luck doesn't run out, because I've definitely heard some horror stories.
Looking forward to this fresh new semester, this fresh new year ahead, it feels like a fresh start. I can't believe I have come this far already. I can't believe I am in my second semester of 3rd year Nursing. I can't WAIT to put everything I've learned into the next 15 weeks of clinical. This is what I am here for.
